How to Check the SSC GD Result 2024-25 (Once Released)

Once the result is declared, candidates can follow these steps to check their name on the shortlist:

  1. Visit the Official SSC Website: Go to the new official portal: ssc.gov.in.
  2. Navigate to the ‘Result’ Section: On the homepage, click on the “Result” tab in the main navigation bar.
  3. Select the ‘Constable-GD’ Tab: On the results page, you will see several tabs for different examinations. Click on the “Constable-GD” tab.
  4. Find the Result Link: You will find the result write-up and the links for the merit lists (usually separate for Male and Female candidates). Click on the relevant link.

What’s Next? The Physical Tests (PET/PST)

Candidates whose names appear in the result list will have to appear for the physical tests. This is a qualifying stage, and it is mandatory to pass it.

  • Physical Standard Test (PST): This involves meeting the minimum height and chest requirements. For male (General) candidates, the minimum height is 170 cm. For female (General) candidates, it is 157 cm.
  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET): This involves a running test.
    • For Male candidates: 5 km race to be completed in 24 minutes.
    • For Female candidates: 1.6 km race to be completed in 8.5 minutes.

The admit cards for the PET/PST will be issued by the nodal agency, the CRPF, on their website after the written result is declared. Candidates who are confident of clearing the written cut-off are advised to start their physical preparation immediately.
